I’m not here to hand out rules or perfect answers. After 30 years in typography, I’ve collected plenty of answers, but every single one led to more questions.
So really, I’m not that different from you. I struggle with typography too, though probably for different reasons than you.
Every month, I send out a little printed something. Call it a thought, a reflection, a musing. I write about my struggles and yours, and try to give you a helping hand in understanding the whole matter.
